Associate Lead, Operations Uttarakhand

Role Expectations

  • Strengthen and maintain relationships with senior state/district-level government officials and key stakeholders.
  • Represent Labhya in high-level district/state meetings when delegated by the State Lead.
  • Drive operational alignment by translating state-level program goals into actionable plans for the district teams.
  • Oversee and ensure effective implementation of Labhya's Anandam program across multiple districts through leading training for various government officials, rigorous data collection, tracking, and reporting.
  • Troubleshoot escalated issues from field teams, ensuring proactive resolution and consistent engagement with state/district/block officials.
  • Coordinate and lead planning for partner visits, reviews, and presentations involving external stakeholders.
  • Directly supervise, coach and mentor Operations Associates and Field Officers across districts.

  • Liaise with Labhya's curriculum, training, communications, and founders' office teams to ensure the field perspective is well integrated and provides strategic inputs on design and delivery.
  • Analyse field data, identify patterns or implementation bottlenecks, and provide actionable insights to the State Lead.
  • Support documentation of impact stories, case studies, and reports for internal and external audiences.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying and piloting innovations in operational systems or field processes.
  • Provide input to the State Lead on strategy formulation, risk mitigation, and long-term sustainability planning.
  • Lead and coach a young team of associates to manage state wide partnership in collaboration with the state lead.
  • Comfortable with regular school visits to support teachers and guide Associates across assigned districts.

Educational Qualification

Bachelors/Masters in education, social science, or equivalent.

Experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in working with government stakeholders, teacher training programs facilitation and liaisoning.
  • On-ground experience with children and youth.

  • Previous experience of managing teams , working with school officials or government officials, managing multiple stakeholders, including senior stakeholders for projects.

Audio Visuals, Associate

Create compelling multimedia content that brings Labhya's work and impact to life. The role focuses on translating programs and field realities into engaging audio-visual stories, combining creativity with strong execution.

  • Translate Labhya's program and information material into creative and high quality multimedia content, for example, videos, photo stories, short films, and documentaries for various projects.

Tripura Operations, Associate

Supports the on-ground implementation of Labhya's Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) program in partnership with the state government. Ensures strong district-level coordination, high-quality facilitation, effective stakeholder engagement, and consistent documentation of on-ground impact across assigned districts and schools.

  • Maintain and build new relationships while strengthening existing relationships with district and block-level government officials in the assigned districts of Tripura.
  • Develop strong working relationships with district coordinators, heads of schools, mentor teachers, teacher coordinators, and teachers in selected Schools of Change.
  • Act as the primary point of contact of the organization at the district, block, and school level in the assigned districts and schools.
  • Act as an anchor between district government officials and Labhya's Curriculum and Training team, ensuring regular liaison and coordination with concerned officials.

  • Coordinate with Anandam coordinators, master trainers, trainers, headmasters and teachers to provide regular programmatic support.
  • Provide support in the development of simple training content or session materials.
  • Assist in the logistical planning and coordination of teacher training and workshops.
  • Support in facilitating on-ground program activities such as training, workshops, awareness-building sessions, community meetings and so on.

Uttarakhand School Support Facilitator

Rudrapur, Udham Singh Nagar/Roorkee, Haridwar, Fluency in Hindi and English

Drive exemplary implementation of the Anandam Patracharya program in schools by supporting high-quality execution through training and supporting teachers, facilitating sessions towards visible impact on student and school outcomes.

Role Expectations

*All the below-mentioned tasks would be key to your role. The following requirements are not mentioned in order of priority.

  • Assist in data collection, documentation and communication for baseline and endline assessments and with government stakeholders.
  • Conduct daily visits to selected Model Schools of Change to monitor Anandam implementation and provide on-ground support.
  • Provide support in the development of simple training content or session materials.
  • Support the Operations team in maintaining relationships with district, block and school-level government officials.
  • Coordinate with Anandam coordinators, master trainers, trainers, headmasters and teachers to provide regular programmatic support.
  • Support in facilitating on-ground program activities such as training, workshops, awareness-building sessions, community meetings and so on.
  • Assist in the logistical planning and coordination of teacher training and workshops.
  • Work in collaboration with the curriculum, training, and state teams to ensure feedback from the field is relayed effectively.
  • Document on-ground stories of change and help maintain logs or field diaries for internal reporting.
  • Coordinate with Labhya's internal teams, e.g., Founders' Office and Communications teams, for field visits by partners, donors, or media teams.
  • Develop community engagement plans towards the adoption and implementation of the program.
  • Co-facilitate teacher training sessions, learning how to design and deliver these sessions.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor's/Master's in education, social science, or equivalent..

Experience

  • At least 2 years of work experience (if Fellow/ Associate in a Fellowship, then at least 2 years of Fellowship) in working with government stakeholders, teacher training programs, facilitation and liaisoning.
  • On-ground experience with children and youth.

  • Prior experience of working with school officials or government officials (non-negotiable), managing multiple stakeholders for projects.

Characteristics

  • Fluent in Hindi (written and spoken)

  • Comfortable with frequent travel and being on-ground to support Labhya's programs and research.
  • Comfortable using email, survey forms and Google Mail/calendar.

  • Strong interest in the importance of children's wellbeing and understanding of teacher-child interactions.
  • Comfortable with logistical planning needed to be present in school despite the challenges.
  • A self-starter who acts with urgency and can find effective solutions to complex challenges.
  • Deeply committed to integrity, transparency, and trust in both process and relationships.
